Hovercraft manufacturer, Reaction International Ltd reports an upsurge in interest from oil companies exploring for oil and gas reserves in shallow water areas. Their hovercraft seats three adults and can traverse over any flat terrain, so is really useful reaching exploration sites in areas inaccessible to conventional vehicles. With no propeller to get damaged, hovercraft have no problem in shallow water areas, and of course are happy to fly over mud, sand, ice, snow, indeed any flat surface at speeds up to 40 mph.
